This Austin K30 which was built late 1940 to early 1941 is one of only 3 known survivors of its type.
It was sold off by the Army in 1946 and had only had 2 owners since then.
It was advertised for sale by the second owner after being in his custody for some 40 years. Luckily during this time it had been kept undercover which had given it some protection from the elements.
The truck was recovered by us back to the workshop for a full strip down & restoration. During this time it was decided to paint it in the unusual ‘Caunter Pattern’ paint scheme as the trucks of the correct period and it was something very different to the usual olive drab.
The truck is now in a massive private collection in Russia.
